You will quickly become a key member of our team responsible for high quality and efficient glass fabrication. Our training process commences day one under the guidance of an experienced glass professional. You will learn quickly, hands on, utilizing specialized tools and equipment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and thrives in a fast-moving environment, is focused on a rewarding career in a great trade and is eager to learn from polished professionals.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Fabricate custom insulated glass units (IGUs)
- Cut, clean, and prepare glass
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Safely handle and transport glass and materials
- Assist with field installations as needed
- Deliver materials between warehouses and job sites
- Pick up materials from vendors
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated solid mechanical skills and comfort with hand tools
- Prior experience in glass or construction trades is a plus but not required
- Physical ability to lift and place heavy objects up to 75 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance and personality
- Valid drivers license
